Team Practice Lab

A hands-on approach to engagement,
trust, and shared accountability.

Engagement Has Been Stuck for 25 Years.
Why Are We Still Struggling?

Gallup's data indicate that team engagement has shown little improvement over two decades. Disconnection is increasing, burnout is accelerating, and people are drifting.

The tools keep changing—more surveys, new training, another platform—but the outcomes haven't.

It's not that people don't care; it's that the systems haven't evolved.

Most programs still depend on one-way feedback, leadership-only solutions, or short-term campaigns that quickly fade.

We do it differently.
We work with the entire team—not just the leader—to identify what matters, establish shared habits, and reinforce them together.

Because engagement doesn't change with sentiment.

It changes when people start practicing what matters—together.

The Manager Matters.
But They Shouldn’t Carry the Burden Alone.

Gallup states that 70% of engagement depends on the manager. We believe that’s unfair and inefficient.

It places too much responsibility on one person and allows others to avoid their part.
We see engagement as a team effort—shared, visible, and built together.

The Team Practice Lab helps teams make that change without leaving the manager to figure it out on their own.

The Team Practice Lab:
Three Steps. Flexible Depth.

Every Team Practice Lab begins with a diagnostic.
Some decide to explore further, while others stop there—and that’s okay.
The Lab is built to evolve with your team’s needs and desire for change.

Step 1: Diagnose (Required)

Where every team begins
Each team member completes a 10-minute engagement assessment covering eight key factors.

The full team report is shared with everyone—not just leadership—followed by a guided debrief with the team leader and internal Champion.

Unlike most programs, we don’t start with what’s broken.
We begin with what’s working, then build from there.

You’ll get:

  • A clear view of where energy is lost and where momentum is possible
  • A shared report everyone can see and discuss together
  • A grounded, honest conversation about what comes next

Starting Investment:
$1,500 base + $10 per team member

For Teams Ready to Go Further

Step 2: Align (Optional)

Build momentum around what matters most. For teams looking to act on their insights, we offer a 90-day sprint.

Each team member has a one-on-one coaching call to review their results and the team report.

Then, the team gathers for a facilitated four-hour session to identify three shared engagement practices to focus on.

We close the sprint with two short follow-up calls:

  • One with the Champion and the team leader

  • One with the whole team to reflect and reset

Ongoing support for the team leader is available throughout the process.

Step 3: Strengthen (Optional)

Sustain traction and deepen your culture. For teams ready to advance, we provide a 9-month development track that builds on Steps 1 and 2.

It includes:

  • Growth Stack assessments (Behaviors, Motivators, EQ)

  • Quarterly team check-ins for accountability and momentum

  • Support at the individual and team level throughout

  • A final team-wide reassessment to measure progress over time

Ongoing support is available for both the team leader and the Champion throughout.

This is how engagement becomes a long-term habit, not just a short-term push.

What You’ll See Shift

  • Shared language around what engagement looks like
  • Honest conversations that lead to aligned behaviors
  • Team-driven habits that show up in daily work
  • Clarity, trust, and momentum you can feel

Start With the Diagnostic

This is the first step. It's not a pitch—just a conversation.

We’ll walk you through the eight engagement factors, show you what the process looks like, and help you decide if it’s the right fit for your team.
